What is the CPF?
The CPF (Personal Training Account) is a system that allows any employee or job seeker to train throughout their professional life. Since January 2019, the CPF has replaced the DIF (Individual Training Right) and now allows funding for foreign language training such as Chinese.
The CPF aims to encourage workers to train throughout their careers. Continuous training is the best way to develop one's career and adapt to changes in the job market.
Any active person who has worked at least 3 years in France benefits from CPF rights until retirement. CPF rights never expire! You can use them throughout your active working life.

1- The CPF covers training costs
You can pay for your Chinese training course in full with your CPF balance. If your balance is insufficient to pay for the Chinese training, you can choose to pay the remainder yourself or wait for your CPF balance to increase: every year, by the end of June following the year worked, your CPF is topped up by €500 for a full-time employee up to a maximum of €5000.
