Chinese Gongbi Painting Model of White Flowers

Here are the three steps to paint a white flower, lightly colored with yellow in its center.

1. Draw the outlines with diluted ink. Then, color the inside with white.
2. Mix lemon yellow with a bit of green and apply the mixture from the inside out. After the ink has dried, apply white from the outside in to highlight the light parts of the petals.
3. Finally, color the heart of the flower. Retrace the outlines that might have been erased by the colors.
