小雁塔
The Little Wild Goose Pagoda is the sister pagoda of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. These are the two main pagodas in the city of Xi'an.
Built under Emperor Zhongzong of the Tang Dynasty between 707 and 709, the Little Wild Goose Pagoda was then 45 meters high. The 1556 earthquake damaged the pagoda, reducing it to 43 meters spread over 15 levels. Next to the pagoda was the Dajianfu Temple, older than the pagoda. It was a center for the translation of Buddhist texts.

Under Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, the Dawn Bell of the Wild Goose Pagoda 雁塔晨钟 was considered one of the eight places to visit in the Guanzhong Plain:
